It sounds unbelievable but sometimes passengers and drivers are staying the same place and don’t see one another! It’s not somebody’s fault, it’s just the way it is and right during the telephone call to dispatcher they find each other! AroundMoscow taxi is one of the most reliable Moscow taxi services and to make it so we have several rules listed below. Keeping the rules not only will help you to enjoy your trip rather than to get upset but will help us to remain as reliable as possible in the future. That’s why we both need to keep the rules. Thank you for understanding!

First about How it works, and than Terms & Conditions.

How it works

  1. You register (from that moment the prices for you will be with 5% discount). You can start with #2 and than you’ll be offered to register in the process of filling out the form, but displayed prices will be 5% higher if you monitor before the registration.
  2. You choose a car and a tariff plan (available with some cars). You can start with a form or picking the service from “prices”.
  3. You proceed the form that finishes with payments.
  4. On AroundMoscow order payments can be maid both in cash (rubles only) and with your credit card (any currency). Even if you choose cash there must be prepayment of 10% of the booking price or 300 rubles (whichever is greater) cancellation charge (see Cancellation Policy below).
  5. Your payment will be processed by one of the Russian safest online processing centre PayOnline System. Read more about (ссылка на order payments on AroundMoscow).
  6. You’ll get confirmation from PayOnline System about your payment.
  7. From that moment you’ll be available to see the Status of your order on site.
  8. You’ll get AUTOMATIC confirmation from us that we received your order (it is NOT confirmation of booking the order yet!). Wait till the operator sends you e-mail. No reservation is considered as accepted until confirmed by email from operator. Keep checking your box.
  9. While discussing all the issues with the operator (can be a couple of letters) Status of your order will change. When you get a final confirmation of a booking your order from operator via e-mail the Status will be “Confirmed by operator“. It means we are ready to provide you the service.
  10. When you arrive to a Moscow airport you go through passport control and customs. Normally it takes 30-60 minutes, but sometimes couple of hours (when they lost a luggage for example). Remember: If we are unable to make contact with the passenger (calling the contact phone number or sending SMS or via e-mails) we will pull the driver away and the passenger will be responsible for the full cost. But if we get contacted, we’ll wait as long as needed. That’s why it’s so important when filling out the form to indicate correctly your tel # with ALL the prefixes (including country code) and keep the phone ON when you land!!! Most problems appear at this point when it’s so easy to avoid them.
  11. When you come out to the hall where all the people holding signs meeting the passengers that’s the meeting point. If at first you don’t see the sign with your text on don’t leave this area!!! 99% the driver is here, but there are several rows of people and very often it takes several times to walk around looking for the sign carefully.
  12. Journeys booked from Airports and Train Stations, the onus (responsibility) is on the passenger to locate the driver and not the driver to locate the passenger. If the passenger fails to make contact with the driver, the passenger should contact the company so as to arrange how to meet. Passenger should not just leave the airport without letting the company know as this will be regarded as a no show up and will incur 100% of the booking price.
  13. In case pick up from a hotel your driver will hold a sign or come to the reception asking for your name. Not all hotels allow sings inside, so if you don’t see the sign with your text meeting point is the reception. If you fail to make contact with the driver, the passenger should contact the company so as to arrange how to meet. Passenger should not just leave the place without letting the company know as this will be regarded as a no show up and will incur 100% of the booking price.
  14. In case pick up from a train station your driver will hold a sign staying either at the wagon (if indicated) or at locomotive.
  15. At Kursky train station information about the wagon is a must. If you fail to make contact with the driver, the passenger should contact the company so as to arrange how to meet. Passenger should not just leave the place without letting the company know as this will be regarded as a no show up and will incur 100% of the booking price.

Terms & Conditions

AroundMoscow taxi is clear about prices and terms & conditions and doesn’t play tricks with any kind of hidden fees.

No reservation is considered as accepted until confirmed by email.

A reservation may only be altered or cancelled with the permission of the company. It has to be done in writing (preferably email) or by phone.

An additional surcharge of 100% on the prices listed on this site may be added on the following dates: 30, 31 December as well as 1 January.

Normal luggage assumes that 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage per person, any luggage that the Taxi cannot accommodate is the responsibility of the passenger.

If we pick up from a Moscow address the driver will wait up and till 30 minutes after the time the booking was made for. If we pick up from a train station the limit is 15 minutes after the train arrival. If we are unable to make contact with the passenger (ringing the doorbell and calling the contact phone number or sending SMS or by e-mails) we will pull the driver away and the passenger will be responsible for the full cost.

At the airport the driver will go in 20 minutes after plane’s landing (unless the passenger has specified otherwise). The driver will wait at the arrivals terminal at exit from custom zone where all people are staying with signs.

We do monitor the flight for any delays and there will be no extra cost to the passenger if the flight has been delayed (unless it’s “I’m feeling lucky” tariff plan). If your flight is early or subject to delays, we will track your flight's progress and send your driver at the new expected time of arrival. “All included” tariff plan includes as long as 120 minutes (2 hours!!!) car and a driver waiting.

If we pick up from a Moscow airport the driver will wait till 120 minutes (2 hours) after the plane’s landing. If we are unable to make contact with the passenger (calling the contact phone number or sending SMS or by e-mails) we will pull the driver away and the passenger will be responsible for the full cost.

If the passenger fails to make contact with the driver, the passenger should call the company so as to arrange how to meet. Passenger should not just leave the airport without letting the company know as this will be regarded as a no show up and will incur 100% of the booking price.

If the passenger changes the flight coming into one of the Moscow airports, the passenger has to call us immediately and there will be no extra cost involved if the passenger calls at least 6 hours before the scheduled arrival of that flight.

Changing the flight informed between 6 and 3 hours prior to the journey will incur additional 50% of the booking price.

Changing the flight informed between less than 3 hours prior to the journey will incur additional 100% of the booking price or the booking price plus a metered fare (for extra waiting) for the period of time between the two flights landing time (whatever is less). E.g. if new plane lands 2 hours later than original one the cost will be 100% of the booking price + meter fare for two hours since it’s less expensive than 2 booking prices.

Cancellation Policy

AroundMoscow Company will accept any cancellation made as long as there is at least 24 hours notice however there will be a 300 rur or 10% (whichever is higher) administration Charge.

Cancellations informed between 24 and 3 hours prior to the journey will incur 25% of the booking price or 500 rubles (whichever is greater).

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
  • No refund is made if the passenger does not show up for pre-paid journeys and he doesn’t contact us.
  • No refund is made for cancellation of a booking informed less than 3 hours prior to the journey or afterwards.
  • All other circumstances where a refund may be possible should be addressed directly with AroundMoscow Company customer services.

All the refunds will be transferred back to the same credit card that was used to pay the order from.

The cancellation must be made via an email to which you will receive confirmation by us.

If you do not receive an email from AroundMoscow Company confirming the cancellation we have not received it. In this case please call us +7-(495)-225-5035 or +7-(903)-11-77-105 (mobile, can be used for SMS as well).
